Our policy outlines how we collect, maintain, use and protect information that we have been provided by you through your various interactions with our website. Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to ensuring that your personal and user data is protected. Any information provided or maintained through our website or the Caregiver Recruitment Tool, is only used in accordance with this privacy statement and/or Venture Forthe’s Notice of Privacy Practices.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Caregiver Recruitment Tool
Our Recruitment Tool is an optional service for Venture Forthe Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) clients. Your voluntary participation requires a signed consent, and agreement to this Privacy Policy. We maintain only the information necessary to provide you with the Caregiver Recruitment Tool service including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, your internal client identification number, county, zipcode, the date that you last signed a consent regarding our Personal Assistant List, and your account preferences. By signing up for, maintaining an account, and accessing the Recruitment Tool, you agree to allow for this information to be maintained to provide the service to you. Your information is kept strictly confidential in accordance with internal, state and federal privacy regulations. The information maintained in the Caregiver Recruitment Tool is only accessible by Venture Forthe CDPAP Staff and Management Team.

Disclosures of this information are only made upon your request and consent, for the provision of providing you with the Caregiver Recruitment Tool service, to run the CDPAP Recruitment Tool, for internal research and analytics, to comply with the law, to respond to legal actions, for the purpose of assisting with public health and safety concerns, and where otherwise required by CDPAP regulations, state or federal law, or as required by a court of law.
Other information maintained by our website, such as the data from website visitors that comment or submit a form on our website, is not released without the consent of the visitor, or where required for regulatory, legal or security compliance.
How Long We Store Your Data
For users with a Caregiver Recruitment Tool account, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile necessary to provide the Recruitment Tool service. Most information can be viewed and edited by the user. Certain Venture Forthe CDPAP staff and administrators can also see and edit that information. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Anonymous analytics data is stored by Google Analytics for up to six months.
Your Rights Over Your Data
If you have an account on our Recruitment Tool, or have left comments on our website, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we modify or erase any personal data we hold about you, with some limitations. You may ask for us to remove any data stored on our website or in our Recruitment Tool at any time.
When we process data deletion requests, we will retain any information we are required to maintain by internal policy, regulation, state or federal law. Any publicly available information, such as comments and their associated metadata, will be anonymized when a deletion request is processed. This does not include any data we are required to keep for regulatory, legal or security purposes.
You may ask to withdrawal from our Caregiver Recruitment Tool, to have your data exported or to have your data removed at any time by submitting a Help Request or by calling (800) 963-9094 x994.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Our website utilizes Google Analytics to monitor website and marketing campaign performance, user experience and web traffic analysis. We also use Meta Pixel to monitor our Facebook Ad campaign performance and conversions. No personally identifiable information is sent to these services from our website and any information that is transmitted is anonymized, and cannot be tracked back to you. Facebook Meta Pixel may utilize cookies from their own website to report on interactions of their users on specific pages on our website related to our Facebook Ad campaigns. We also utilize a fraud and spam detection service to protect all user data and information submitted to us electronically to prevent malicious, fraudulent and abusive activity on our website. All visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection system.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, we may update our Privacy Policy from time to time, at our sole discretion. We encourage you to check back frequently for updates to this policy.
